The purpose of this page is to create an easy and efficient source of communication between our department and LeClaire's citizens or guests. We will utilize this page to post safety tips, traffic information, press releases and general updates on our department's activity.

This page is managed by the staff of the LeClaire Police Department, but is not monitored 24 hours a day; therefore it should not be used to report any criminal activity or urgent police-related matters.

**WE'RE HIRING**

The LeClaire Police Department is taking applications for a FULL-TIME police officer position. We do not currently have an opening available; however we are taking applications and will be going through the full application/testing process to produce a list for any potential available positions in the future. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, possess a valid driver's license and pass a background/criminal record check.

We are also taking applications and looking to fill two PART-TIME police officer positions. Applicants must already be a certified law enforcement officer and reside in the state of Iowa.
