Green Tree Endowment FundHelp Us Grow-- Donate today to shape the library's future!

Our library strives to be a community center and a resource for the community. A place for life-long learning, a place to meet a friend or spend time with family, a place where people can gather information on hobbies, topics that interest them, entertainment, and more.

It's no secret that the City of LeClaire is growing. While we have been generously supported by the city, tax dollars only help with library operational costs to keep the building open and purchase materials. It is through private gifts and through the support of the endowment fund that enable us to host programs for all ages, make improvements to the facility, and provide services to meet the needs of our growing and evolving community.

The Friends of the LeClaire Community Library has worked to establish the Friends of the LeClaire Community Library Endowment. The endowment will provide the library with a source of stability and allow for a wider array of programs and services to be available to those that utilize the library today. The endowment will also create a strong position for the library as it moves into the future. The mission of the Friends of the LeClaire Library is to support and be an advocate for the LeClaire Community Library.

DONATE: To donate online, please visit the Friends of the Community Library Endowment page through the Community Foundation of the Great River Bend website.

Volunteer at the Library

We're always looking for new volunteers to help us with projects large and small. Whether it's assisting staff at library programs, shelf-reading, putting up displays-- any help we have from the community makes our library a better place for everyone in LeClaire.

Teens:

Teens are able to earn service learning credits for Pleasant Valley School District at the library. Please contact our Youth Services Coordinator Haidee Cardoso.

Adults:

There are two different ways to volunteer time at the library for adults:
