Garbage & Recycling
Republic Services is the exclusive contracted provider for the City of LeClaire.
$17.00 per Month - Residents Under 65 Years Old. $16.00 per Month - Eligible Residents Over 65 Years Old with Proof of Income. These prices include one 95 gallon garbage toter and one 65 gallon recycling toter.
A one-time $10.00 fee can be paid at City Hall to upsize the 65 gallon recycling toter to a 95 gallon recycling toter.
To obtain additional carts, call Republic Services at 563-332-0050 to set up extra services.
***Garbage/Recycling carts are to be set out at the curb by 7:00 a.m. with 3 feet of clearance all around to ensure pick up. Please email jschelhaas@leclaireiowa.gov as soon as possible if garbage was missed and the information will be forwarded to Republic Services.

UNACCEPTABLE Materials for Curbside/Large Item Pick Up:
- Household Hazardous Materials : these can be dropped off at the household hazardous materials facility, located at 5640 Carey Ave., Davenport, IA.
- E-Waste: these can be dropped off at the electronics recovery center, located at 5650 Carey Ave., Davenport, IA. "E-Waste is defined as devices that contain a circuit board or a cathode ray tube, such as computer monitors, TVs, stereos, computers, radios, and video game systems.
- Appliances
- Tires
- Regular Garbage
- Construction Debris
- Commercial Business Items
- Yard Waste
- Lawnmower/Snowblower - unless they are completely emptied of gas & oil.
***City-Wide Clean Up Day*** Saturday, October 8th, 2023 (between 8am - 4pm) Located at 1800 Iowa Drive (Waste Water Treatment Plant) Residency will be verified. Any resident may bring large, bulky waste items, appliances, and tires to be disposed of into dumpsters. Any regular garbage, hazardous materials, construction debris, commercial business waste, E-waste, yard waste will not be accepted.
