Brian grew up in Rock Island, Il. He began his career with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office in January 1996 as a Correctional Officer in the Scott County Jail. During that time he served as a booking officer and a transport officer. Brian was hired as a Scott County Deputy Sheriff in 1999. During his time as a Deputy Sheriff he served in the Patrol Division and Civil Division. He was an FTO (Field Training Officer) and a DRE (Drug Recognition Expert). Brian retired from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office in July of 2021. He joined the LeClaire Police Department in December of 2021 as the city’s Code Enforcement Officer.
